Students can take advantage of free photos for professional headshots, visit a career Pop Up Shop, attend a virtual resume workshop, and network at career fairs on both Calhoun campuses the week April 4th through April 7th.
Have you been wondering how to get your skills listed in the employment sector, then wonder no longer. The job fair on April 7 from 10am to 1 pm on both campuses will offer you this opportunity to network your skills, learn about available careers in your profession, and land your dream job. Please take advantage of this free opportunity to advance your skills and services to show what you have to offer in the work place.
Calhoun Career Services is also offering free headshots, which are head and shoulder photos that students can use with their resumes. Adding a portrait of yourself can make your resume stand out.
Resumes are the perfect way to allow employers to get to know you. Knowing the right words and format can showcase your resume and give a window into your skills and services. Knowing how to present yourself on paper is a crucial part of the interview process and allows for dialogue to tell more of yourself to the perspective employer. So, take out your old resume and spruce it up to showcase the vibrant and energetic you.
