Calhoun Community College’s “Let’s Pretend Hospital” returns to the Decatur Campus after the two-year Covid-19 hiatus!
LPH is scheduled for April 11-14, 2022.
Calhoun is expecting more than 1,000 first graders from classes in Athens, Limestone County, Decatur & Morgan County Schools from Monday – Thursday, with the first bus arriving at 8:30 am each day.
Tours continue starting every 10 minutes until 11:00 and the last group leaves by 2:00pm. The first floor of the Health Sciences Building will undergo the transformation to a kid-friendly hospital on Friday, April 8th.
Parking, traffic and building access are affected on the north end of campus to ensure the safety of the visitors.
Calhoun faculty and staff are welcome to visit, but please wear your identification badge and don’t be alarmed if you are escorted by a nursing student to your destination.
Anyone with little ones who would enjoy the event, are welcome to accompany them to join in with a class tour.
