Alabama Department of Public Health, ADPH, is recommending the Covid-19 booster shot for everyone 18 and older.
“Most hospitalizations and deaths due to COVID-19 in Alabama are among unvaccinated people. The best way to protect everyone is to be vaccinated, including people who have been infected with COVID-19 before,” Dr. Karen Landers, ADPH, said.
In the Huntsville area, go to the Huntsville Hospital Covid-19 vaccination website to schedule a booster.

Shots are given at the Jaycee Community Building at John Hunt Park in Huntsville Mondays through Thursdays at varying times. Appointments are required. Appointments for children ages 5-11 are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-6 p.m.
