The Calhoun Student Government Association will host their annual Red Cross Blood Drives this week on each campus at a time when blood is desperately needed.
According to the Red Cross, the US is in a national blood crisis.
“The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The dangerously low blood supply levels have forced some hospitals to defer patients from major surgery, including organ transplants. Your donation is desperately needed.”
The drives will be on each of the main Calhoun campuses.
At the Huntsville campus – Wednesday, January 19, 2022 – Sparkman Bldg. Grand Foyer – 10am-3pm
At the Decatur campus – Thursday, January 20, 2022 – Health Bldg. Lobby – 10am-3pm
