Tattoos are one of my favorite forms of artwork, so when I heard about the Space City Tattoo Expo coming to the VBC, I was extremely stoked.
For me, getting inked is a therapeutic and fun experience. In fact, I have several tattoos placed around my body and plan on adding more.
That’s why the annual Tattoo Expo was the perfect event for me to attend. It only cost $30 to get in for the day, and it was money well spent.
Walking into the Expo, I got to meet artists from all over the world and admire their work. The creative artwork displayed encouraged me and many others to get some new ink.
I ended up with an amazing piece, the Ray Gun Mark 2 from the popular game Call of Duty. My artist was Edward “Eddy” Argibay. Although there were many talented artists at the Expo, in my opinion, Eddy was definitely the guy to get inked by.
Other than getting inked up, the Expo was also good for the artists themselves. They held competitions for the best art done throughout the weekend.
I had a great experience and loved the creative atmosphere. To top it all off, there was live music, food, and cool merch.
I am already planning on attending next year’s Expo and thinking about my next tattoo.
