Soul Food Festival

On Tuesday, November 14, Calhoun Community College’s Black Student Association (BSA) held its Soul Food Festival.

I enjoyed talking with classmates and eating all of the delicious food that was prepared for the students, staff, and faculty.

The event had a great turnout, with many of us devouring the food.

After being served by the friendly women who were giving out the food, everyone was free to sit down in the multi-function room and enjoy their food, grab some extra drinks, desserts, or side dishes, and socialize while enjoying music.

Part of the BSA’s goal is to bring together students of all backgrounds, which was undoubtedly achieved.

I look forward to other events the BSA holds.
