Public Transit in Huntsville

Huntsville is expanding public transportation this summer by opening a new transit center for its buses. The center is on track to finish construction in May and should be open by the end of June. It will be located on Pratt Avenue, close to the intersection with Church Street.

According to WAFF, public transit officials claim that the number of people who use public transit every day in Huntsville is expected to climb from 3,000 currently to 5,000 by 2029. The transit center is being built as a result to address the needs of Huntsville’s growing population.
